Dear Job Seeker,

What’s your car of choice? Beamer? Lexus? Acura? Jag? Wouldn’t you like to buy one – without ever worrying about the payments?

How much vacation time do you get each year? 1 week? 2? Wouldn’t it be nice to have 6 weeks of vacation every year? You’d be able to actually relax without worrying about coming home so soon...

How about your savings account? Is it healthy? Wouldn’t it be great to see your savings account grow $500 or so every month instead of hovering around ZERO?

If you negotiate your salary the right way, then you can have all of these things. (HINT: All you need to do is follow 5 simple steps, and it’s all yours...)

There are secret pots of money your company can dip into to give you a higher payout. It’s a secret, and they won’t offer it to you unless you make them.

That’s Right. There’s Plenty Of Money To Negotiate A Higher Paycheck Than You Ever Imagined.

That way you can have a larger home...a nicer car...a longer, more relaxing vacation…and still have money in the bank.

You, too, can negotiate for better pay so you can afford all of this. It only takes 5 simple steps.

All you need to know is what to do and say and how much to ask for.

Are You Afraid That You'll Ask For Too Little Or Too Much?

That's a problem, isn't it? Also, it helps to know how to ask...and when to ask. And it'd be nice to be able to negotiate better benefits, too.

You can learn how to do all this, and in a moment, I'm going to tell you how. But right now, I want you to think about this:

This Is The Moment Of Truth. This Moment Decides Whether You Spend The Next 10 Years Underpaid, Making Just Enough To Scrape By... Or Whether You Make An Extra $500 Or More Per Month.

Wow! Talk about pressure! What are you going to do?

You have a lot riding on this. Settle for too little, and you'll feel like you're getting ripped off. Ask for too much, and you’ll look greedy. Ask the wrong way, and you’re likely to get viciously rejected and laughed out the door...

But what happens if you ask the right way for just the right amount?

You Could End Up Making An Extra $500, $1000, Or Even MORE Per Month!

What could you do with that kind of money? Well, for starters, think of your home...

  • You could build an addition onto the house. (That means more room for you and your family. Imagine being able to spread out... Play pool in your new recreation room...or make an extra bedroom so you can add a new member to the family.)

  • You could pay off your mortgage sooner. (Finally free! This would be one less bill that you would have to pay every month...money that you could use on other, fun stuff.)

  • Or you could just move into a bigger house in a nice neighborhood. (A safe, quiet place...but near enough to the action where you wouldn't have a large commute.)

And your home is just the beginning. There are all sorts of other things you could do with that money.

What Can An Extra $500 A Month Do For YOU?

An extra $500 (or more) per month. Hmmm...

  • You could tuck massive amounts into savings and investments, so you can have a comfortable, fun retirement.

  • You could set some money aside to safeguard for your children's future and education.

  • You could save up a little so you can take that nice vacation. (Remember how you used to dream of traveling? If you could go anywhere in the world to visit, where would it be? Well, if you save up a little bit each month, you can make that dream a reality!)

  • Has nightmarish debt been driving you crazy? With a bigger salary, you could pay off that debt a lot faster. (Imagine not having to worry about those extra bills every month.)

  • Do you quiver with fear when you think about your family’s financial security? An extra $500 a month could help bring you peace of mind. (Do you have a little extra financial padding? What would happen if you were out of work for six months? With a cushion of money in savings and investments, you wouldn't have to worry about that.)

Naturally, you'd be better able to provide for your family. Getting out of debt and securing your family’s future would take a load off your mind. But think about what else you could do. For instance...

Do You Think That An Extra $500 Or More Per Month Would Change Your Lifestyle? You Bet It Would!

You could:

  • Go back to school or take continuing education courses (Knowledge is power! A little extra education could push you right into a better, higher-paying position...)

  • Seize the opportunity to go out more...you won’t be this young forever. (Go to the movies, the beach, the circus, the golf course, or wherever else interests you.)

  • Abandon your old clunker. Get a hotter-looking car. (You know what I'm talking about...the one everyone always stares at when you drive by...and then pretend they're not looking at.)

Of course, you've probably heard that money can't buy happiness. That might be true. But if you can rake in extra money for doing the same amount of work, why not take it?

And while you’re at it – remember, higher pay is just the beginning.

Don’t Forget – You Can Welcome A New Lifestyle By Negotiating Superior Benefits.

Have you thought about what amazing benefits could do for you? Just like your salary, your benefits are negotiable. Good benefits could get you:

  • More vacation time. (Another 2, 3, or 4 weeks to spend in paradise – while your regular paychecks are still faithfully making their way into the bank at home!)

  • A company car. (At the very least, a company car can save you wear and tear on your own sexy vehicle.)

  • Rabid bonuses. (A little extra paycheck here and there to buy a sauna...a big screen TV...a night out on the town...)

  • Severance pay. (You’ll have a nice, soft security blanket of extra money...just when you need it most.)

By dominating the negotiations to take advantage of everything that your employer has to offer, you could make yourself and your family much better off.

You'll be much more likely to enjoy your job, not feeling like you're getting ripped off. You’ll command more respect from your employer. You'll strut with confidence and security – because you’ll know that you have plenty of money to do the things that you want to do.

And you'll know that you're taking the best care of your family that you can.

But in order to do all this stuff – in order to get better benefits and higher pay – you’ll have to be able to negotiate fiercely.

It’s gonna take effort to fight for what’s rightfully yours.

So Here’s Your Combat Training. Give Yourself A Raise Before You Even Start The Job.

Fortunately, you CAN negotiate a mountainous salary and surreal benefits. And it only takes 5 simple steps.

In my new system, Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make a Thousand Dollars a Minute, I teach you these 5 simple steps in detail...so you’ll know how to go about talking the employer into submission during negotiations.

You’ll learn answers to all of your most important questions, including:

  • How do I go about asking for more money? (pages 50-54)

  • How do I hold out for more money without angering the employer or hurting my chances of getting hired? (page 21)

  • How much is the employer allowed to give me for this position in this company? How much should I ask for? (pages 41-55)

  • What exact words should I say? (throughout system)

I know the title sounds like I’m making you a really big promise. You’re probably thinking...

“Can I Really Make $1000 A Minute?”

Well, here’s how I figure it...

Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make a Thousand Dollars a Minute is a 5-step system that explains, step-by-step, how to negotiate your salary, so you can take home an extra $500 or more every month.

In fact, if you think of it that way, you can take away an extra $1000 – or more – for every minute you spend negotiating your salary and benefits. Not bad, huh?

In Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make a Thousand Dollars a Minute, you learn, step-by–step, how to negotiate for more money. It really IS simple. You only need to remember 5 simple steps.

This isn't rocket science...it's real-life, uncomplicated stuff that you say and do. You'll even get a script with exact phrases that you can memorize if you want to.

Easy as pie, yet dangerously necessary if you want to make more money.

Yep, you really can make $1,000 a minute doing this...maybe even more. Some people make a little more, some a little less. But almost everybody (about 97%) ends up earning a good bit extra when they use these principles.

But How Will It Work For You?

Everybody is different. Not everybody feels comfortable talking the same way. And not everybody is interviewing for the same job, or talking to the same interviewer. So you might wonder how in the world you'll be able to apply these 5 steps to your own situation.

Well, in Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make a Thousand Dollars a Minute, I give you plenty of examples of real life experiences. I’ve coached thousands of people to prepare for thousands of interviews. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years. I can do it for you, too.

You’ll get examples of what to say. And I’ll show you how to adapt the 5 steps to your own specific situation, so you can say the phrases your own way.

For example, you need to know how to follow Salary Negotiation Rule #1, and you need to sound natural doing it.

Salary Negotiation Rule #1...

Grab a FREE lesson on one of the most important points you can remember while negotiating your salary...

Rule #1 is to postpone discussing salary until they’ve offered you the job. But the trick is, if they ask you too soon, how do you avoid answering how much you’d like to earn?

Just click below for some valuable FREE coaching. You’ll get to see a short video of me giving you some sample phrases to use to avoid answering salary questions before you’ve been offered the job.

(Click the play button twice to start.)

You only need to postpone talking about salary until you’ve been offered the job, though. Once they offer you the job, you can pounce...

But to negotiate, you’ll have to know how much you can ask for.

Here’s How To Know How Much To Ask For.

That's actually one of the easiest parts. I’ll show you, step-by–step, how to uncover exactly how much that position should make. Here's what you'll learn:

  • How to coax out more money without asking for too much or too little. (Using this technique will protect you from going too high and pricing yourself out or pricing yourself too low and looking hard up and desperate.)
    [p. 34]

  • How to be rock-solid certain how much the position should pay. (You'll have the upper hand because you'll be able to prove on paper what the position is worth.) [p. 42]

  • How to set the hiring manager free so they can get around the rules to give you more money than they're supposed to for the position you're interviewing for. (3 methods to bust down the barrier of what's in the company budget for those jobs.) [p. 51]

  • How to get other people in the same position you are interviewing for to spill the beans. (They'll gladly blab about how much money they make, after you tell them this.) [p. 49]

  • Where you can dig up all the salary information you need...for FREE! (In fact, you can lounge around and relax while someone else does the work for you...by taking advantage of this little-used, FREE service.) [p. 48]

  • Why putting a bargain-basement price tag on yourself can actually keep you from getting the job. (Here's what really goes on inside the employer's head when you ask for so little.) [p. 33]

  • One special situation in which you can ask for up to $10,000 more than the position normally pays. (HINT: Timing is crucial!) [p. 52]

Of course, once you know how much to ask for, you can’t just rush right in and demand it whenever and however you feel like it.

Timing’s important. And so is asking the right way.

Once You Know How Much To Ask For, Here's How To Negotiate For The Most Money...

Now you can get on with the negotiations to blast your way to an additional $10,000 or more per year. You will learn:

  • How to get the employer to name their price first. (If you want to win the negotiating game, you NEVER want to go first…with these 3 proven methods, I’ll show you how to pry it out of them without making things feel weird.) [p. 34]

  • How to get a raise in 30 seconds. (This technique practically GUARANTEES you some sort of a raise in the salary they offer you – and you can even use it more than once to SKYROCKET your earnings before you even start your job. Use it multiple times to push your earnings through the roof!) [p. 38]

  • Four qualities bosses are willing to pay more for in their employees. (Most job applicants can’t back up why they deserve top dollar…after proving these 4 qualities, you’ll be able to name your price without any arguments.) [p. 50-51]

  • How to get everything you want by compromising. (Follow a simple path made up of these 5 secure stepping stones to force your potential employer to take your negotiating seriously. You’ll be able to squeeze every last dollar and benefit possible out of them. ) [chapters 3-7]

  • Tell the employer what they need to know to pay you more money. (Most employers are happy to fork over what you are really worth to them. Learn 3 specific, powerful ways you can prove to your employer – beyond a shadow of a doubt – what you've done for them lately. They'll be so happy to see it, they'll fawn over you and beg you to take a raise.) [p. 113]

  • How to erase the interviewer's doubts and concerns about your salary. (Hypnotize the interviewer with your qualifications to have them eating out of your hands.) [p. 54]

  • Why you should always fight your natural urge to snap up the employer's first offer. (You'll be able to smell the cash, but abstaining will fatten your bank account.) [p. 59]

  • One method of negotiating your salary that you should run fromno matter what. (The method that essentially makes you deaf and blind to what your employer is really saying...) [p. 97]

Step by step, you’ll learn not just how to get more money, but also how to negotiate for better benefits.

After all...

A High Starting Salary Is Great, But Wouldn't It Be Even Better To Maximize Your Benefits Package, Too?

Don’t worry; you’ll dominate your negotiations to get all the benefits you deserve.

Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make a Thousand Dollars a Minute will coach you on:

  • Why the most common benefits are not necessarily the ones that are easiest to claim. (Learn which ones your employer is most likely to consent to – it'll be like taking candy from a baby.) [p. 61]

  • How to negotiate a bonanza of bonuses. (These are like extra paychecks. You can tuck them away in a mattress or bury them in the back yard – and dig them up at vacation time! Spend Christmas in Italy, if you like!) [p. 66]

  • Why some companies will gladly give you a few paid days off – over and above your regular vacations. (Grab this time to relax, lounge in your hammock, go fishing...while you still rake in the bucks!) [p. 69]

  • The benefits that are most likely to add pleasure to your life and let you pile up extra money to retire on. (Find out which benefits are worth fighting for.) [p.71]

  • The best time to ask for severance pay, and how much you should ask for. (HINT: your employer is most likely to promise this benefit when your work still smells like flowers.) [p. 95]

  • Why you shouldn’t suffer with just a few extras when you can have a feast of benefits. (35 delicious benefits that your employer may allow you to dine on. There are probably some you didn’t even know existed!) [p. 75]

So, you’ll know how much to ask for, when to ask, and how to ask. And you’ll be able to get better benefits. But just knowing all of that won’t make your nervousness go away.

What if you freeze up and forget what to say?

You’ll Be Able To Overcome Your Nervousness Using These
Proven Techniques...

You might feel nervous right now, but with the right information, you'll feel much more confident. And you'll go in armed to the teeth, once you learn these tricks of effective negotiating:

  • How to appear confident even if you feel powerless. (While all the other candidates are melting in their seats, these 3 techniques will keep you in complete control, and as cool as a cucumber.) [p. 127]

  • One simple, powerful technique to boost your confidence...even if the thought of negotiating scares you half to death. (Instead of going into the interview anxious, you’ll feel relaxed and easy – negotiating will feel no different than a polite conversation – just because you’ve done this beforehand. You’ll be a
    smooth operator
    !) [p. 126-127]

  • How to stay in control and get respect during the negotiations. (4 things you can say and do to make you the top dog in the negotiations.) [p. 28]

  • Why it's OK not to be too nice. (The bad side of being polite, and 3 ways you can keep from slitting your throat with niceness during the interview.) [p. 29]

  • Tired of being the one on egg shells during the interview? (Do this to turn the tables, so the employer will be the one begging to please you – instead of the other way around.) [p.31]

Of course, once you’ve negotiated an awesome salary and benefits package, there’s only one step left...

Learn How To Handle Paperwork.

No matter how well the negotiations go, it won’t amount to a hill of beans if you don't get it on paper correctly.

Even with the best intentions, your employer might forget what they promised.

To protect yourself with a shield of paperwork, you should know:

  • When you need to get it in writing – or risk losing all the benefits you worked so hard to negotiate. (These contracts are the fortress that will protect your benefits from faulty memory, hard feelings...or worse.) [p.70]

  • Why you should beware of signing papers. (Know which papers can ambush your livelihood and when you should hire an attorney to look over them.) [p. 92]

  • One benefit that you should always get proof of in writing. [p. 94]

Once you've negotiated a high starting salary and begin to make more than you ever have before, there's no reason for you to stop there. Your hard work can earn you more money to send your salary soaring – as long as you...

Know How To Ask For Raises!

Negotiating Your Salary: How to Make a Thousand Dollars a Minute will help you continue to explode your earnings by showing you:

  • No matter how you ask, your employer will not give you a raise unless they think you are doing this one thing for them. (Find out exactly what it is that your employer is looking for so you can prove that you shine...it's like having a cheat sheet for your performance review!) [p. 111 and 113]

  • When is the perfect time to ask for a raise. (Ask for a raise during this time, and you will be 3 times more likely to receive it – with the boss's respect, heartfelt thanks, a handshake, and maybe even a pat on the back.) [p. 26]

  • A simple, 3-step technique to ask for a raise. (3 safe steps to take that keep your boss from feeling threatened – yet assure that they’ll pay close attention to what you’re really worth to them.) [p. 112]

  • When a raise is not really a raise. (How to make sure that your salary rises faster than inflation.) [p. 119]

This simple, 5-step system will guide you, step-by-step, through the negotiation process, so you’ll know when to ask, how to ask, how much to ask for, how to overcome nervousness, and what to get in writing.

But now that you understand what this system can do for you, you might still have a few questions. Questions like these...

20 Frequently Asked Questions.

  • The system covers a lot of stuff. Is it as complicated as it sounds? No way. Actually, it’s quite simple. You only have to remember 5 simple little rules or “steps.” I spell them out in plain English.

  • "No magic or miracles promised, just some old-fashioned horse-sense for understanding and navigating the salary-negotiating game..."

    S. Montgomery-Yingling (Ohio)

  • Am I gonna have to memorize a bunch of stuff? Nope. You only have to remember 5 rules. And you can even practice. (That makes it easier to remember.)

  • I don’t want to sound like a dork. You’re not gonna have me say stuff that sounds “canned,” are you? Heck, no! I’ll give you some suggestions of what to say, but then I’ll help you adapt it to your own way of talking, so it will sound really natural.

  • How do I know that this system will work for ME? How can one system cover EVERY situation? You can adapt each of the 5 simple steps to almost any salary negotiation situation. Also, in the system, I give a lot of examples of adapting the system to fit all kinds of situations. Chances are pretty good (about 99% certain) that no matter what comes up during your negotiations, I’ve covered it in my system. I have to be honest with you, though. I can’t 100% guarantee that this will work for you. No system can guarantee that. But this will give you an excellent shot at making better money and getting better benefits. It’s worked for lots of other people, and it will probably work for you, too. (And if it doesn’t, you’ll get your money back.)

  • "...offers many good research tools to perfect your craft at obtaining a worthwhile salary..."

    G. J. Wiener (Westchester, NY)

  • What makes you so sure it’ll work for MY job? Because in almost every job, the employer is willing to pay you what you are worth to them. They realize that some people might be more valuable to them than others – even those who are working in the same position. Generally, the more you show them you are worth to them, the more they’ll be willing to pay you. This system helps you show the employer how much you are really worth. It’s the same no matter what your job is. If you can prove you work harder, faster, better, or more efficiently than average, then you’re worth more to your employer, and they’ll be willing to pay more to keep you.

  • Does your system have any disadvantages? Yes, it does have one. You have to actually spend the time learning the system. Fortunately, the system is very simple (only 5 steps), so it doesn’t take that long to learn.

  • How long will it take me to learn to use your system? Most clients find that they can learn it in one evening.

  • This isn’t going to waste my time, is it? As I said, you’ll probably be able to learn the system in 1 to 2 days. And negotiating usually takes only a few minutes – certainly less than a half hour. For that small time investment, you’ll probably end up making thousands of extra dollars.

  • This sounds like some work. Why should I bother? Most people don’t do anything at all to prepare to negotiate their salary. They walk in like the balls in a foosball game...bouncing around hoping to hit a big score. But that rarely works! By using this system to prepare for your salary negotiations, you’ll have a big advantage, so you’ll be a lot more likely to score big!

  • What exactly am I going to have to do? All you’ll have to do is:

    • Order the system.

    • Download it.

    • Read through the system, and listen to the audio files.

    • Think about how you will apply it to your own job.

    • Think about exactly what words you will use to make it sound natural.

    • Practice saying those phrases. (Works even better if you practice with a friend.)

    • Then, after you’ve been offered the job, just do everything that you learned. That part should only take about 10 to 30 minutes.

  • What are the 5 simple steps you keep talking about? They are:

    • Wait until you’ve been offered the job to discuss money. (I give you lots of ways to stall...especially in Chapter 3.)

    • Let them make an offer. (Chapter 4 holds all the juicy details on how to get your employer to go first.)

    • Make your first response. (Chapter 5 explains how to respond in the right way, with the right counter-offer.)

    • Make your second response. (I Chapter 6 how tells you to hold out for top dollar.)

    • Clinch the deal, then deal some more. (That’s in Chapter 7. I’ll show you how to juggle offers from more than one employer, how to accept or decline an offer gracefully, and how to get it in writing.)

  • What else is in your system besides these 5 steps? There’s a lot in there about:

    • Figuring out how much you’ll lose if you DON’T negotiate (Chapter 1).

    • Figuring out how much you’re worth to the employer (Chapter 2).

    • Negotiating benefits (Chapter 7).

    • Dealing with special situations (Chapter 8).

    • Negotiating stock options (Chapter 9).

    • Negotiating raises and dealing with salary reviews (Chapter 10).

    • Knowing when to break the rules (Chapter 11).

    • How to practice, so you won’t be so nervous (Chapter 12).

  • How does your system compare to the other salary negotiating systems on the market? Just about any training in how to negotiate your salary will do you SOME good. Most of the people who write these programs are dedicated professionals who sincerely want to help you succeed. I invite you to compare my system to theirs. MY system does have an advantage over most of the others, however. You’ll find mine very simple to learn and use – only 5 simple steps. Many of the other systems on the market are complicated and make you memorize tons of “lines.”
  • How do I know I can trust you? Maybe this is just some sort of a scam...You’re right to be cautious. With all of the scams going on, especially over the Internet, you should be very wary of sending ANYONE YOU DON’T KNOW your money. I’m a real person. If you like, you can write me if you have any questions. My address is 511 Maple Avenue, Wilmette, IL 60091.

  • Is there anything else I should be wary of? Yes. Success can change people. Sometimes people find that having more money can actually stress them out. It changes their lives, and they have trouble handling it. Before you do this, think very carefully...are you sure you want your life to change? If you aren’t sure, then you definitely SHOULD NOT try this system. Having more money could do you more harm than good!

  • How much is this system REALLY worth? Well, that depends on how well the negotiations go. Some people use it and make an extra $1,000 a year and a couple of extra benefits. Some executives use it and get an extra $300,000 per year. It depends on your job and your employer, mostly. But whether you make an extra $1,000 or an extra $300,000, you’ll pay only a tiny percentage of that for the system.

  • What if it backfires? What if my employer gets angry? I admit, the whole situation might feel a little tense. It’s much easier to just sit back and let them tell you how much they’ll pay you and be done with it. But think of how much you’ll lose if you do that. Relax. They’ve already offered you the job. That means they want you. They’re not going to take that away just because you negotiate for a fair salary. And they’re certainly not going to offer you less just because you ask for more. Also, I give you some very diplomatic ways to go about asking. (I cover some of this in Chapter 3.) Plus, I give you special instructions to follow if the employer becomes difficult or angry. (That’s in Chapter 10). Follow my advice, and you won’t say anything offensive.

  • I don’t know if I can do this. What if I get nervous and freeze up? It’s normal to feel nervous before you do something new. If you don’t feel confident that you’re good at it, then you’ll feel nervous. The key is to practice, so you’ll feel really confident. In Chapter 12: Practice and Coaching, I walk you through the process of practicing. Practice will help you get rid of the heebie-jeebies.

  • Why should I believe that you know what you’re doing? That’s a fair enough question. I’ve been teaching these proven techniques for 20 years. I’ll show you, step-by-step, what to do and say to get every salary and benefit you deserve. I don’t like to toot my own horn, so I’ll let someone else tell you about me. This is an excerpt from a recent interview – the same interview you’ll be receiving a valuable recording of:

Negotiating Your Salary: How to make $1000 a Minute was written by Jack Chapman. Jack is one of the country’s top salary negotiation coaches.

    Shamontiel L. Vaughn (Chicago, IL)

Another client used it to net an extra 7 grand:

Susan Wells is a Career Consultant who teaches ONLY my negotiating methods. She knows it works, too. Hear what she has to say:

"IT WORKS!!! IT WORKS!...My client's success rate at getting better hiring and exit packages stuns not only the client, but my colleagues as well. If you're still not convinced IT WORKS, here's proof: I had one client who felt he was grossly underpaid. After my coaching, he nearly doubled his salary and jumped several rungs up the corporate ladder. IT WORKS! "

    Susan Wells (Houston, TX)

And Susan’s not the only career professional who recommends my system. Here’s what Denise Lidell, a seasoned Career Counselor, says about my system:

"I'm a Career Counselor and coach with a number of years of experience as an Executive Recruiter where I frequently helped my candidates negotiate their salary...I highly recommend this...to anyone who plans to change jobs or wants to negotiate a better salary in their current position. You should read this...before you have your first interview! "

    Denise Lidell (San Diego, CA)

I have many success stories to tell. It’s always rewarding when my clients can turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse.

For example, one of my clients used my system to interview for a position he was overqualified for: a manager of computer-aided design (CAD), pegged at $55,000 a year.

He followed up the interview with a letter telling how to save the company untold grief and overhead. He showed them how he could 1) solve the problems he and the interviewer had talked about, 2) solve some other problems the interviewer had hinted at, and 3) help to integrate the CAD with the CAM (computer-aided-manufacturing) systems over the next two years.

Since he followed my advice, waiting to reveal his salary requirements, then showing the company everything he could do for them, he was hired at $95,000.

    One more success story:

I had a client with high-level management capabilities who chose to interview for a line-manager position paying way below his worth. Although normally that would be a waste of time, by applying proper salary-talk timing he was able to develop the interview into a superior offer. Here’s his own account of his experience.

“My interview was with the vice president of operations. He said the slot he wanted to fill was operations manager, salary $35,000. When he asked if that salary would be okay, I said I wanted to table salary discussions until we were sure I was right for the job. Then, while he talked about the company, I made mental notes about its problem areas, to go along with what I’d learned by reading the company literature and talking to the secretary.

“He asked what my strengths were, and I told him the top four. He asked what my weaknesses were, and after about a fifteen-second pause I said I’d need additional time to think of a weakness with respect to this position.

“After more discussion about my background, which I related to company problem areas, he offered me the position of district manager at a salary of $60,000 to $70,000.

“Once again, I declined to discuss salary. Instead I steered the conversation back to four of their stores in South Carolina, which I knew from my research were ineffectively managed. I pointed out qualifications listed on my résumé that coincided with that need.

“Then he asked me how much I actually wanted in salary. I answered that I felt my salary should be based on the responsibilities of the job and the standards of the industry. If we got clarity on that, the salary would fall in line.

“After that he began talking about an even better job concerning the four problem stores. He said that the job, on approval of the president, could pay $80,000 to $100,000!

“An interview that was supposed to take only thirty minutes took ninety, and my interviewer said he’d talk to the president about paying top dollar for top people.”

Yes, you heard that right. He interviewed for a $35,000/yr job and ended up with one making more than double that!

I also went one step further and included this special audio interview...

NEW: One of a Kind Coaching Interview with Jack Chapman: Answers to Your Salary Negotiation Questions:

Inside Secrets Revealed For Getting What You’re Worth. A $99 value!

(You’ll receive both the MP3 audio file of the interview AND a complete transcript.) Here are the questions I answer in the interview:

  • How much should I ask for and how do I determine if it’s the right amount?

  • How do I go about asking so I get a positive outcome?

  • Is there a way to determine if I’m getting paid what I’m worth?

  • How do I find out the maximum salary being paid for the position I’m applying for?

  • How can I discover how much the company is willing to pay?

  • How do I find out the average salary for my experience level and what everyone else in my market is making?

  • If they are firm on a salary, but it’s not enough for me, how can I get them to increase it?

  • What if the salary range is not published; how do I approach my asking price without being unrealistic and hurting my chances?

  • How am I supposed to start the negotiation if they insist I mention the first figure?

  • How do I get them to talk about salary first?

  • If the employer stands firm and says “This is what we are willing to offer you,” how do I persuade them to change their mind?

  • How am I supposed to take a strong position for salary/vacation and benefit packages when I’m competing against other people. I want to get what I’m worth, but I feel like I need to take less in order to “outbid” the other people?

  • How do I start the negotiation process…am I supposed to go really high and then work back or just ask for a reasonable figure?

  • What should I do if they ask, “What are you currently earning?”

  • Won’t people get mad if I’m secretive about my salary?

  • If the salary they offer me isn’t enough, should I even bother with the interview?

  • How can I approach my employer without turning them off or looking like a beggar?

  • When is the best time to ask for a raise?

  • What is the best way to approach my boss so they will say yes?

  • What is your advice for appearing more confident?

  • What is the boss looking for, and what will persuade him to pay me more money?

  • Is it worth risking my job by asking for more money, especially if my town doesn’t offer much of an opportunity?

  • Why didn’t they just pay me more in the beginning?

  • When do I start the higher rate of tax, and does it benefit me to have a lower wage with lower taxes or a higher salary with a higher rate of tax?

  • What is the average rise in the standard of living and how much of an increase in my pay should I get per year?

  • Should I use an outside offer to try to get a raise?

  • What if I want more than my boss makes?

Just the interview itself is worth more than the price of the entire system!

Remember, this isn't just ANY salary negotiation system. It's like having me personally coach you. I normally charge $150 per ½ hour for private coaching...but you’ll pay only a tiny percentage of that!

How long would I need to coach you to bring you up to speed like The “Gold” System does? 4 hours? 6? That would cost you $1200 – or more!

"Pays for itself 1,000 times over..."

Kenneth Ruggiero (Charleston, SC)

You can get the same street-tough savvy in The “Gold” System at a much lower price.

When you act today, you’ll be able to get in on a special deal. As part of a special Internet promotion, only available right here and for a limited time, The "Gold" System is just $59.95 $39.95 on this website.

Why do I charge so little?

Since it’s a “do-it-yourself” system, and I won’t need to spend time actually coaching you in person, that makes more time for me to coach my other clients. So naturally, I’ll charge less than I would for “in-person” coaching.

Also, since you can DOWNLOAD the entire system INSTANTLY, I don’t have to pay a penny for printing or postage. So I think $39.95 is a pretty fair price.

And for a limited time:

I have something very exciting for you!
